Small works, catching up....

When I saw how a friend had framed this small wave, I was amazed at how good it looked....Framed like a precious jewel.. Wish I was committed enough (and wealthy to boot) to frame all of my art...

All oil on board, most 8"x10', the vertical one is 9"x12" .. When I am in between paintings or just don't feel like facing a big canvas, or need to work out some color, or idea or just get something out of my mind, this is where it goes. Occasionally, it may find it's way onto canvas.. but I feel I can experiment small and not waste precious time and/or materials... Sometimes I just have extra paint squeezed out and don't want to waste it..

Hi Mary! I am so amazed at how beautiful your paintings are. They are just amazing! I am astounded by how well you can capture the moods of the sea and put them on canvas. Incroyable!
